Tutorial Material

Tutorial Description

With your HTML knowledge, you have a solid foundation for working with markup languages. However, unlike HTML, XML is more flexible, allowing for custom tag creation. This course introduces the fundamentals of XML and its related technologies so that you can create your own markup language.

Target Students

The students for this tutorial are the web developers who do not have a lot of programming training and most of the time are scared of coding. We would like to give them some understanding of what XML is and how and where to use it in an efficient way. We envision the tutorial to be mainly a hands on experience to provide basic skills to the newcomers as well as give some inside and how to's to existing users.
