Use the files in this directory if you want to build Geant4 from scratch yourself. Beware, it takes many hours to do so, so you may want to try the pre-built distributions on this CD instead.

• Geant4.5.2-p02 source code (.zip, .tar.gz). Please read the Release Notes before using this release.

• CLHEP 1.8.0. Required for building Geant4.

Data files on this CD

These data files are only needed for specific (optional) physics processes (format compatible with Unix, GNU, and Windows utilities). Some of the advanced examples require these data files:

• G4NDL version 3.7 neutron data files
• data files for low energy electromagnetic processes (version 2.2).
• data files for photon evaporation (version 2.0)
• data files for radio-active decay hadronic processes (version 3.0).
