Welcome to COOL 05!
The International Workshop on Beam Cooling and Related Topics, COOL05, was held at the Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa in Galena, IL (USA) from September 18 to 23, 2005.
The workshop will focus on the latest developments and performance
in the physics and engineering of beam cooling systems and techniques
including stochastic, electron, muon, and laser cooling. Applications
of beam cooling to traps, heavy ion beams, and ultra cold beams for
future facilities are included in the program.
