Concerning heavy ions: Accepting that the focus of the conference is on pp physics with some sprinkling of heavy ions added 'for information', the distribution of the 90 minutes allocated seems reasonable (1/3 TH, 1/3 RHIC, 1/3 LHC). However, the ALICE commissioning talk S3.7 has to be moved to session 6 (right after LHCb); not only for coherence but also this information is presumably of interest to a wider community. Commissioning and early physics will in any case be done with pp, also in ALICE. Concerning Dan's comment on PID: ALICE uses a rather complete set of PID techniques (dE/dx in silicon and gas, TOF, TRD, RICH, topology). However, the interesting news from these will come once we have data.. I assume the PID talk is more focused on physics calibration channels for leptons and partons at this time ?? In our choice of presentations we would like to favour younger speakers, whilst maintaining a judicious balance of geographic distribution, gender and experimental affiliation. In the attached program:- 1) The ordering of notations CDF/D0, ATLAS/CMS does not imply any priority. The CDF/D0 ambiguity will be resolved later, depending on how their analyses proceed. We expect the ATLAS/CMS ambiguity (S1.6,S2.3,S5.5,S5.6,S7.5,S7.6) to be resolved quickly, (maybe a phone call between Karl Jakobs and Paris Sphicas would suffice?) 2) Please feel free to make suggestions for all talks, although for experimental talks the speaker's bureaux of the experiments may impose other solutions. 3) Because of the difficulty last year with theory speakers, we would like to proceed quite quickly.
