An intensive review of statistics intended for physicists with a working knowledge and some practical experience in statistical analysis. Both Bayesian and Frequentist methodologies will be presented and compared. Emphasis will be on meaning and interpretation rather than recipes. Probability and decision theory will be discussed, but most of the time will be spent on parameter and interval estimation, hypothesis testing and goodness-of-fit testing.
