The status of the D0 Forward Proton Detector (FPD) is presented. Operational since March 2002, 
the FPD has being commissioned in a stand-alone data acquisition system (Sdaq) and has collected 
large data samples of both elastic and diffractive events. Very recently, it was integrated in 
the full D0 data stream, and diffractive samples have been collected. Preliminary $\xi$ and $|t|$  
distributions will be presented for these samples.
