Fermilab Security Update – Restricted Access

Please note that the Laboratory site is currently restricted to the public. Visitors must show a valid DOE laboratory photo ID or a Fermilab-issued visitor’s pass along with a government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport) each day to enter the site. For those who have registered for HEPiX-HEPNT Fall Meeting 2002, Fermilab Security will issue Workshop visitor’s passes at the Main Entrance (West Gate at Kirk and Pine Streets). All Workshop visitor’s passes will be valid from October 21 through October 26, 2002. Please remember that a government-issued photo ID will still have to be presented along with the Workshop visitor’s pass to gain access to the site each day. (Site maps)

First-time access is only through the Main Entrance, Kirk and Pine Streets, Batavia. Please arrive early enough to be checked in by Security at the Pine Street checkpoint, which is located approximately one-half mile inside the Laboratory boundary.
