Abstracts

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to August 1, 2005. The workshop will include oral presentations and one poster session. There will be no parallel sessions.

To contribute an abstract, you will first have to create a COOL05 user profile on Fermilab's scientific programme management system. Once you have created a user account, click on the Manage Abstracts link and select Submit a New Abstract. Instructions are available from a link at the top of the abstract submission page.

If you need to modify your abstract, please login to the scientific programme management system and select the Edit link next to the abstract you wish to modify.

Please use the scientific programme management system's search function to view contributed abstracts.

Proceedings

The workshop proceedings will be published by AIP as a 6" x 9" (152mm x 228mm) hardcover book, a CD-ROM, and on the web. Each registered participants will receive a copy of the proceedings.

Instructions and templates for preparing your paper are available on the AIP website. Authors are required to use the appropriate 6" x 9" (152mm x 228mm) template.

The following page limits apply to all contributions:

  • Invited Oral = 10 pages (6" x 9" format)
  • Contributed Oral = 5 pages (6" x 9" format)
  • Poster = 5 pages (6" x 9" format)

Authors are required to complete the following steps to submit their paper:

  • Submit a source file (Word or LaTeX) and a postscript file to our online system. Instructions on how to submit your files to our server will be available soon.
  • Submit an AIP Transfer of Copyright Agreement to the paper reception office at the conference.
  • Submit Permissions forms if you are using previously published material from a book or journal to the paper reception office at the conference.
  • Check the status of your paper on the paper status board. You should have a green dot before you leave the conference.

Please submit your contribution by the last day of the conference, September 23, 2005.
